The MPC mark, and the rules that keep it itself.
Everything needed to represent MPC accurately in coverage, research, exchange listings, and partner material — logo files, the colour system, typefaces, and the constraints that apply to all of them.
Every asset, in one archive
SVG for anything that scales — print, signage, decks. PNG at 1x/2x/3x for anything that does not. Both archives carry all sixteen files: four shapes across four background treatments.
One mark, four shapes, four surfaces
The mark is the faceted crystal already carried by the site's favicon, the OG image, and every whitepaper cover — unchanged. What is new is the wordmark, the lockups, and the surface variants. Pick the treatment that matches the background you are placing it on.
What holds the mark together
These are the constraints that keep the mark legible wherever it lands. Anything not listed here as forbidden is fine.
- Clearspace
- 0.5× the mark's height on all sides
- The crystal's facets are thin lines; anything closer starts competing with them.
- Minimum size — mark
- 24px digital · 10mm print
- Below this the interior facets close up and the mark reads as a solid diamond.
- Minimum size — horizontal lockup
- 120px wide digital · 32mm print
- The wordmark's counters fill in below this width.
- Stacked lockup
- Use above 96px wide only
- Two elements at small sizes lose the relationship the lockup exists to show.
Do not
- Rotate, skew, or otherwise distort the mark.
- Change stroke weights or redraw the interior facets.
- Add shadows, glows, outlines, or bevels.
- Recolour the mark outside the copper scale.
- Place the full-colour mark on photography — use a mono variant.
- Rearrange, resize, or re-space the mark against the wordmark.
- Set the wordmark in a substitute typeface.
A copper scale, not a copper
Copper appears at four values because paper and a near-black interface need different ones to clear the same contrast bar. Each stop names the surface it belongs to. Click any value to copy it.
Copper Scale
MPC's brand colour, one hue across four surfaces. Never substitute one stop for another: each is the value that clears WCAG AA on the surface it names.
Surface & Ink
Screen surfaces run near-black and cool; print surfaces run paper-white and warm-neutral. Keep the two sets apart.
Accent
Used sparingly and always with meaning attached — never for decoration.
Three faces, three jobs
All three are self-hosted on the site and licensed under the SIL Open Font License, so they can be used in partner and press material without a licence purchase.
